News and Announcements / Characters Category SPLIT!

This month we split the Characters category in half, 0-M and N-Z (similar to Songs, etc. @ TFL). Since the category is large and getting close to 3,000 subjects (yay!) we feel the time to do it is now before it gets any larger. Each half will be managed by a regular set of staffers, one for Applications, one for F/U/C and one for Troubles, and these positions have been filled by our current Characters staff. All Characters email addresses will be forwarded on to the new categories, so there will be no forms lost during this change.

Due to an abundance of mail errors from board notifications bouncing, the notifications table has been emptied. I apologize for any inconvenience, hopefully this won't happen again for a while.

As previously announced, the staff volunteer forms were inundated with spam entries. Fortunately I think I've found a workaround. You can find instructions on accessing the new form here, and we are now accepting staff applications once more!

Yeah, as long as it's easy for the visitor to tell that 1) there's two fanlistings and 2) which one's which, we don't mind if the layout/URL is the same. ^^;

I just wanted to apologize for today's downtime; wasn't just us, I'm sure anyone hosted on Dreamhost has similar gripes. They seem to have sorted out their (multi-layered!) technical difficulties, so we're back on the air.

Pretty much every example I've seen of Serbia/Montenegro has been spam so no, no evidence necessary. Use your best judgement... if it seems like a spam, there's a pretty good chance it IS a spam. (And that's what I do, too, with my fanlistings.)

There isn't a difference, it's some relict wording from TFL's site, I'm afraid. ^^; They're the same thing. (I think in the past, TFL would take temporary TCs, before they hit on assigning full-time ones and having them be more... permanent.)
