Yesterday, I came across this topic (http://\"http://board.thefanlistings.org/index.php?showtopic=63413\") on TFL board, which display a link to an article of TFL Network on wikipedia, and so, related to that topic came AFL network  :D I'm not sure if someone is willing to open an article for AFL or contribute with some information, I think it would be a great and nice touch to have AFL displayed there, so people would know more about this awesome network and all the stuff behind :D.

>.> hope it's the right place for this thread.....

[EDIT] Sebastian opened an AFL article found here (http://\"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Anime_Fanlistings_Network\"), if you want to edit  :)

...According to the deletion log (http://\"http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Log/delete&page=The_Anime_Fanlistings_Network\"), they considered us link spam. (Wonder if TFL is still up? :D )

The page for TFL (http://\"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fanlistings_Network\") is loading. :D Perhaps the TAFL article wasn't created correctly. *knows next to nothing about wikipedia*

Actually I think I remember seeing a topic for TAFL earlier this year. I suppose in the end there was a discussion and they decided that there wasn't enough information to merit having a separate topic from TFL. *shrugs*

Pfft, why is TAFL in the 'Imitations' section of the TFL article?  If we can't get our own, we should at least get a mention in the main part of that article that we are partners with a blurb about our history (when the a/m fanlistings split off and such).

Yeah, we're certainly not an imitation -- heck, we're the only one out there that ISN'T an imitation! :D

I have an account and wrote the TFL.org article. I would be happy to write the TAFL.org article if you guys could answer a few questions for me. :) There is plenty of history to this network, and I think it deserves its own article.

Ask away. :D Also, can you edit the TFL one, so that TAFL isn't listed as an imitation, but as a partner of TFL?

I believe someone already edited TAFL out of the imitations, so that's taken care of. :)

As I thought about it, I can only think of one question. Ehe. Are there any previous senior staffers? If so, what are their main websites? I would like to list them in the TAFL article as I did with TFL article.

Also, I'm not 100% sure as to what websites the senior staff want listed in their information. You can either tell me which one they would like, or they can edit the article themselves. :)

Thanks Rosemary!

EDIT: Finished the article. It's not as long as the TFL one because a lot of the staff information, like about what they do, is the same. You can view the article here (http://\"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Anime_Fanlistings_Network\"). :D If you guys want anything changed/added, please let me know. :)

Great article. Thanks!  :)

Added slight change to the introductory paragraph:
Quote
Manga from other countries are listed at The Fanlistings Network.
changed to
Quote
Comics and animation from other countries are listed at The Fanlistings Network.
in an effort to reinforce that non-Japanese comics and animation should not be described as anime and manga.

THANK YOU, I totally missed that. (I hate seeing those types of references, drives me crazy.)

I made a few minor changes to the staff structure, to reflect TAFL's hierarchy (which isn't identical to TFL's, actually. ^^; )
