Title: Codes Question
Post by: Suzumi on July 28, 2007, 07:36:03 AM
In the rules it said this: For example, if you own a series or relationship fanlisting, you can not have codes featuring only one character from the series and the word "fan." but I was wondering if the code was for a relationship fanlisting and it had both characters in the relationship on the code but it said fan, would that still count as an ambiguous code? I would rather not get in trouble for another adopted fanlisting because of the codes. :cold:

Er... I apologize if I posted this in the wrong place, but I am terribly tired and haven't slept yet but I really wanted to know.

I believe that should be fine.  As long as it has the two characters for the fanlisting in the code, it could be fan.  If I'm wrong, please correct me :cold:

the safest way would be of course write both characters name or something that points to the relationship.

IE : lets say it's Romeo and Juliet (first names in my head ^^; doesn't mean anything so far) then your possible options would be.
-romeo & juliet
-R&J
-R&J rel
-relationships
-fan (as long as both characters are included on the code)

and so on... there's no absolute rule about what should be written, however i believe the subject on the code must clearly reflect what is supposed to be the listing and not cause any any kind of confusion.

hope that helped ^^

For relationship listings, if the code features all of the characters in the relationship you can most certainly just use the word 'fan' on the code.
