Off-Topic Chit-Chat / TV TV TV!

TV shows!  What series are you into right now?  What series are you interested in watching?


I became obsessed with House a year ago, and I just into NCIS a few months ago.  Both are my current TV passions, but they're on break until fall.  I'm sure plenty of people have heard of House thanks to the title character - it's a medical drama.  NCIS seems to be relatively unknown in fandom world, despite its stellar American viewership numbers.  It stands for Naval Criminal Investigative Service.  It's a procedural criminal investigation drama, but it's also usually funny and very character-driven.

I'm waiting for the return of Psych to get me through the summer, and I'm currently watching Leverage and Warehouse 13.  I'm interested in sitting down to watch Royal Pains, but I haven't quite done so yet.  I have a whole slew of TV series I need to watch, too~

No matter how long your current fanlisting wishlist is, long or short, if you could be granted ONE wishlist fanlisting from TAFL, and ONLY one, which would it be? <3




Mine is Riza Hawkeye from Fullmetal Alchemist.  She's in my top 5 favorite manga/anime characters ever, and I am thankful to run the fanlistings for the other four. <3<3  *smushes them all*  Since I don't want to write a long essay, I will just keep it simple and stupid - Hawkeye is more awesome than awesomesauce!

News and Announcements / Audio Drama + Books Announcement

The Fanlistings Network has created a new subcategory called “Audio Dramas” within the Albums category. All anime/manga audio drama CDs and cassette tapes should be applied for at thefanlistings.org in the Albums category.

Also, all novels and non-manga books based on anime and manga series should be applied for at TFL.org in the Literature category.

Although novels and drama CDs are based on anime/manga, they are not directly related to them, much the same way that fanlistings for Live Action dramas and Live Action movies based on anime/manga series belong at TFL.org in the TV Series and Movies categories.

Edit: Angela's file currently has a problem.  On line 60 in the new show_join.php:

should be:

if( $_POST['email'] && ereg("^[_a-z0-9-]+(\.[_a-z0-9-]+)*@[a-z0-9-]+(\.[a-z0-9-]+)*(\.[a-z]{2,6})$", $_POST['email']) )There seems to be missing an extra ) at the end.  So, if you download Angela's file, add in the extra ) before uploading.  I don't know if there're any other problems; Angela or one of the coding gurus will probably let us know. :]

In the meantime, if you still have problems, you can also edit the file show_join.php manually by following this tutorial.
