Title: Rejection Problem.
Post by: Lia on April 22, 2008, 01:42:58 AM
I was recently rejected for a fanlisting because a finished form for a fanlisting hadn't been processed.  The fanlisting in question was approved to someone else, and I'm wondering if there's a way to have my application included and the applications processed again.  I don't feel that a rejection is fair in this case, because the finished forms weren't processed before the applications were.  I sent a contact form, but I wasn't sure which Senior Staff I should send it to, or if the Senior Staff would get the email at all.

We did receive your contact form, so don't worry about that.

As to your post, we have always encouraged applicants with several upcoming/pending to tell the category staffer, either in their actual application or via contact form, whenever they have completed an upcoming and sent in a finished form. In most cases, Applications staffers do not have access to F/U/C forms, so there is no way for them to know this information if the applicant does not provide them with it. This has been discussed several times over the years - there's a thread actually dedicated to it in the SS forum here (http://\"http://board.animefanlistings.org/index.php?showtopic=7366\") and it was discussed here (http://\"http://board.animefanlistings.org/index.php?showtopic=14362\") as well. While I do apologize for any frustration, we will not be overturning this approval.
