Hey, that time has come. I’m giving up all my fanlistings to owners who are still passionate in this hobby! Please proceed to this http://fan.rainyink.net/'>page to see what’s up for grabs. Some of them are in the process of adopting out (I properly marked them).

Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I last posted here but I’m going to make this post short & sweet. I’m adopting half of my fanlistings. My interest has dwindled over the past years and I think it’s high time to hand them over to passionate owners. Sounds good? Here’s the list:

I’ll do this now before I chickened out. I’m adopting some of my fanlistings. Sadly, my last adoption attempt wasn’t successful so I’m giving it another try (plus few new ones). I really love these subjects and honestly it’s hard for me to let them go but they deserve better owners, ones that will love and take care of them more than I did. None of them will close (I don’t have the heart do it anyway) having said that, please don’t hesitate to try.

Here’s the usual drill:

1.   Credit me as the previous owner (and the other previous owner).
2.   No collectors please.
3.   Have html/fanlisting experience
4.   I don’t mind if you update/add members using scripts or manually. I’m using Enth so it’s up to you on how you’ll convert the members list that applies to you.
5.   Email me if you want to adopt/close the fl. I may want it back!

Questions for the Senior Staff / Songs Layout (rules)

This must be long issue by now, but I’m still confused regarding the “layout rule” in the SONGS category.

The network rule says:

Fanlisting graphics should reflect the subject you are approved for.

Your fanlisting’s layout and image codes should feature images that accurately reflect the subject you have been approved for. (For example, if you have been approved for the manga version of a character featured in a movie or a game, your layout should feature manga images of the character, unless you are approved for the other versions of the character as well.) Your image codes should also be clearly marked with the subject you have been approved for. (For example, if you own a series, character or relationship fanlisting, you can not have codes featuring only one character from the series and the word “fan.”)

If my understanding is correct, you can use any image as long you clearly stated in your layout the subject of the fanlisting, so it means manga images use for songs fanlisting is allowed just we need to label it properly? How about the buttons, we can use any images as long as marked it properly with the subject name we are approved for.

The reason I asked I see some of layouts think don’t really reflect the subject, For example is it ok to use the image of singer alone, if it just a TAFL, approved?

Questions for the Senior Staff / Should I still add this kind of person?

I always received new membership form from the same person...but in truth it's a spam (he has the same IP address)

the question is should I still add this person? He did provide me with name, country and a valid email address...but the /url box/comment box is full of hentai photos.... I still don't like to add this person, then I remembered that I cannot reject people when they are joining fl, please help

General Questions and Discussion / What to do in two fls? (new approved and the inactive one)

here is the scenario: I have two fl's that are re open (have previous owner, because of it's inactivity the TAFl removed it from the network) the thing is their site are the ones fans joining not mine, it seems when i google it, their site appear first than mine so the tendency is the fan to join that fl. (there are lots of pending member)
The question is, can I ask the owner to closed it, so people won't be confuse, and join the one who is active, Am I allowed to do that? i don't want to sound rude or anything... so I'm asking you first, can someone give me an idea on what to do...
