How does Crosslisting work?

So, say you get approved for a video game character over at TFL, and you crosslist it here, I know that means that you don't get approved for it automatically, but that must give you some type of advantage right, to be running the approved FL over at the sister network?

I'm still a little confused about this. Someone who just recently got into fanlistings says it gives you a greater chance of being approved, when I asked them their thoughts about it over AIM. I'm doubting this imensly, but I wanted to check up on it.

We do try to crosslist the existing approval, if only to cut down on duplicate-subject fanlistings, but it is not an automatic guarantee, no. Generally though, that's been our policy. Best to apply at both places, to be sure!
