Permanent trouble checkers

I was looking at the main TAFL site and read that you're taking on staff as permanent trouble checkers. What are the difference, if any, between a "permanent trouble checker" and a "trouble checker"(like the existing ones)?

There isn't a difference, it's some relict wording from TFL's site, I'm afraid. ^^; They're the same thing. (I think in the past, TFL would take temporary TCs, before they hit on assigning full-time ones and having them be more... permanent.)

The people who are currently trouble checkers for our network are permanent trouble checkers. It simply means that they regularly trouble check for a specific catagory(ies).
