Alice in Wonderland, the Tim Burton one, for the first time. I have a particular hatred for Burton generally (for his films, really - he just has a tendancy to do something particularly morbid and then take it too far), and though my issues with his films cropped up a couple of times, in general, it wasn't too bad. I'd watch it again.

It is out on DVD now! I don't particularly like Tim Burton either, but my friends swear that this Alic narrative is superbly different. Will have to get the DVD and enjoy.

As for me, last movies I watched were Shrek 4 and Sex and the City 2.

I like Tim Burton's movies though I haven't seen Alice in Wonderland as yet though I don't really like the story itself. For some reason Alice in Wonderland drives me mad

I saw the Losers, I liked it. Chris Evans' character was pure comedic relief and it had some funny lines in it. Now off to watch the Faculty for the 3rd time in the pass week. Its been 10 years and I'm still obsessed with this movie!

Oh yes, absolutely! It was entertaining enough. Jake Gyllenhaal...    sigh.

You and me both, sweetie! I don't particularly like that story too. The original Disney Alice animation I"m not too fond of, and trying to read Lewis Carroll is even worse! Haha! It takes a certain personality to like it, I guess. But I will have to see this film, just to see how much Burton reinvented the whole tale.

Bewitched, my mother recorded it on TV, so I watched it with her.
It is out on DVD now! I don't particularly like Tim Burton either, but my friends swear that this Alic narrative is superbly different. Will have to get the DVD and enjoy. ;)
I have it on Blu-Ray (since my brother loves Alice; still, it makes the costumes look pretty, they are quite nice, I have to admit)! :) Yeah, it's set much later. It's not the typical young girl going; she goes when she's about nineteen for the second time, so it's all in all a bit darker.

@Espo: Will do that, yes. :magic:

Just got home from a movie date with friends. We watched Knight and Day. Pretty nice film! Witty and not as predictable as I had thought it would be. (Of course anything with Tom Cruise in it is awesome by me! XD)

I just watched that Beyonce film Obsessed on HBO, and now I'm watching Journey to the Center of the Earth (starring Brendan Fraser, of course!). :magic:

I watched Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time the other night and I really liked it... a lot more than I thought I would! I just wanted ogle Jake Gyllenhaal looking all greasy and hot and wound up enjoying the story and plot... wth? Needless to say I'll probably watch again with my family.

I'm jealous of all those who have seen Prince of Persia I went to the drive-in and saw a double feature of Toy Story (which I didn't really care for *shrug* ) followed by Eclipse :cookie: My Jacob looks so handsome.
