Ooh, another question about locations and items. Will only "geographic" locations will be accepted? What happens when someone applies for "X's house" or "Y's bedroom"? And what about silly things like "Z's <insert piece of clothing>"?

A lot of thought is going to be going into this category, and Lexa will need to look into things before they approve them.  We never approved things like Z's <insert piece of clothing> before, unless it had special powers or something, and we won't start now.

Only relevent things to animes/mangas will be approved

So what about real world locations that have particular importance in a manga series, to the point where they even have magical/whatever characteristics that make them basically different from the real world counterparts?

Specifically, I'm thinking of Rainbow Bridge as a location in X. Yes, Rainbow Bridge IS a real location. But it's also a kekkai, which means it acts as a magical or mystical protective barrier, AND it's particularly important because a huge plot point takes place there. Plus, one could also argue that the X world is an alternate universe from our own.

I'm guessing that's still a no?

No, but I think in that case I would probably lean more towards approving it because it does have "magical" characteristics that would imply an alternate universe.  I'd have to do some research into the actual location and what significance it has in series.

Ah. So, would something like..."Roy Mustang's gloves" be approved? I've asked this question before in a contact email once, I believe. XD;  They're not really magical, but they do allow Roy to use his fire alchemy.

So...for instance...if a person applied for...say...The Cursed Springs of Jusenkyo from Ranma 1/2, it would be okay.  Then something like Tokyo from Tokyo Mew Mew wouldn't be okay, right? ^^;;

Is there a name for the glove (I can't really remember), or something that it's referred to as?  If you apply for it and can't find a name in the series I'll go back and check too.

I would consider that an item of merit since it's not this general run-of-the-mill item that has no importance in the series except to just serve as a back drop item.

It will include items (eg BSSM henshin items, etc...basically anything that has 'magical' powers or plays an important role in the series) and locations, such as worlds, towns, etc... <_<
