News and Announcements / TAFL Board Guidelines
« on: July 04, 2009, 11:03:05 PM »
Recently there have been quite a few posts that are not fitting to this message board and it's purposes. Because of this, a new rule has been added to help clarify what is considered "spam" on the message board. Now included in the Board Rules/Guidelines, under Posting Regulations, is the following:

Quote
4) Individual posts containing personal notices and/or announcements such as "I'm Back!" or "I'm Sorry" are considered spam and will be treated as such. They will be deleted without notice and may result in a warning to the poster.

We encourage all of our members to familiarize yourselves with this new rule, and all of our board guidelines. They are linked at the top of every page on the message board for easy access.

Please feel free to e-mail us or ask in the Questions for the Senior Staff forum if you have any questions or need any clarification about this or any of our board guidelines.

Questions for the Senior Staff / "Rules" to join a FL
« on: May 15, 2006, 06:43:30 AM »
I know many people have "rules" or guidelines set out for those who may be joining the fanlisting, as I myself do. Somehow, I came to the belief that it was against the network rules to force visitors to read the rules, through the use of code words or anything else, but now I can't seem to find that reference.

I ran across a listing that was using Javascript to force visitors to read and acknowledge thier rules page before allowing access to the join form. What I am wondering is, is this a reportable offense?
