Just saw the redesign (I suck big time :x), and just wanted to add to the list of admirers! Love the whole new look -- it matches the TAFL boards now! Great job, Mitzrael-san!

Re-pimping mine as well, since I just fixed my KIM script. :ouch: Didn't even know there was a major script error, GRRRR. Been so busy with work something this major slipped by me. Ugh.

Anyhoo! On to the CURRENT listings and the Keep in Mind List. Planning an adoption post soon, so.

Irrelevant edit: 180th post, baby!
Salt is a terrible, terrible bore of a movie, so I think you're safe in saying it won't come close to touching Inception.
I just watched Salt earlier today with my parents, and I would have to agree with you, Marie. Which is quite sad for me, since I love Angelina Jolie and I have such high expectations for this film.  :D There was NO climax, no cathartic moment, no brilliant plot twist. Most of the hype they built up on the trailers they showed were resolved in the first forty-five minutes. 0_o;;; The stunts were great, and the shots were amazing, but the actors were wasted on a ho-hum story. I wonder if the original was better...? (Since the entire script was re-written for Jolie; the original Salt featured a male agent.)
My thoughts exactly D: I don't really feel like reading fics of it... except for Arthur/Eames, a friend is trying to get me into the pairing xDDDD :D
LOL If I were into shounen-ai, I'd ship them too! Their interactions are so fun to watch! :)

Nolan drove us insane with Inception, didn't he? And yet we followed him willingly into the labyrinth of dreams, wanting more, seeking answers we will never get.  ;) I hope it wins an Academy Award or something. (Or maybe not, with the "Oscar curse" and all!)
Salt is a terrible, terrible bore of a movie, so I think you're safe in saying it won't come close to touching Inception. ;) Which I agree is easily the best film of the year so far. But like you, I also share an extreme bias for Nolan, LOL.
Oh honey, I know NOTHING will come close to Inception. :) But thanks for the assurance! In truth I haven't seen Salt yet. But I'm a bit surprised you found it boring, when all of my friends have been raving about it.  X_X And yes, Nolan is amazing. The only films of his that I haven't watched were his short films and Following, which I hope I have some way of getting my hands on. (Which one did you like best, of all his works?)
Inception. In a second attempt since tickets were sold out the first time -_- but it was so worth it!!! :D SUCH AN AMAZING MOVIE.  -_- I hadn't seen such a good film in a long time, it felt so good <3333 the story was so epic that I didn't have time to ship anyone... |: /world ends
I know what you mean, Yamila! ^.^ Some of my favorite authors on FF.net (who write for other fandoms) are now writing for inception. And I realize that I don't want to read fics about that work; the film itself is completely satisfying, that no fan work can measure up to it. But if I were to ship anyone there, I suppose I would be partial to Arthur/Ariadne. Hehehe.
The Good Guys has made me go through some Colin Hanks films, so lately I've watched The House Bunny...
Haha I saw that one recently too. Surprisingly entertaining. ;)

Dare I say it? My movie of the year: INCEPTION. No other movie will come close, I'm certain. Not even Salt. Perhaps not even Deathly Hollows. It's just mind-blowingly FANTASTIC.

Of course, I'm biased towards Christopher Nolan and all of his films. (Loved, loved, LOVED him since Memento.)

Watch it, if you haven't already! If you have, watch it again!

<-- Still not changing my avatar. Just saw Iron Man on HBO Asia for (two consecutive days).
Eclipse! Yes, the Twilight-Eclipse. Went to see it yesterday with my friends and was pleasently surprised by how much I did like it, since I was gripped a lot of the way through (it's my favourite of the books, so I'm glad it did it justice).
With you on that one. I hated New Moon (slept through twenty minutes of it), but I liked this third installment. Did they change directors? Visually the film was more engaging, and dialogue-wise, a lot snappier and (dare I say it?) more insightful than the last two.
Inception. Amazing movie - Christopher Nolan really just "wow"d me with this one. Really, just a truly impressive film. /is tired, cannot be eloquent
Ohmigosh I so want to see this movie so badly. *flails* Will go do it tomorrow, haha. I've been a Nolan fan since Memento (which is my favorite movie of all time). I'm starting to think Christopher and Jonathan Nolan could NOT make an un-brilliant film. :D

It looks great, Aya! Congrats on getting it up so quickly! :magic: And it looks so darn pretty, too. Promote this on the TFL boards, too? :)

@Espo: Will do that, yes. :)

Just got home from a movie date with friends. We watched Knight and Day. Pretty nice film! Witty and not as predictable as I had thought it would be. (Of course anything with Tom Cruise in it is awesome by me! XD)

I just watched that Beyonce film Obsessed on HBO, and now I'm watching Journey to the Center of the Earth (starring Brendan Fraser, of course!). :magic:

Oh yes, absolutely! It was entertaining enough. Jake Gyllenhaal...    sigh.
I like Tim Burton's movies though I haven't seen Alice in Wonderland as yet though I don't really like the story itself. For some reason Alice in Wonderland drives me mad
You and me both, sweetie! I don't particularly like that story too. The original Disney Alice animation I"m not too fond of, and trying to read Lewis Carroll is even worse! Haha! It takes a certain personality to like it, I guess. But I will have to see this film, just to see how much Burton reinvented the whole tale.
I saw the Losers, I liked it. Chris Evans' character was pure comedic relief and it had some funny lines in it.
OHMIGOSH I HAVE TO SEE LOSERS. Chris Evans = HOTNESS.
