I get fully what you're trying to say and since they have like...different composers, I think it;s best to leave them (1st series and reload) separate - but reload and gunlock can have one list together....something like that right? Haha.

Oh yup, currently I have them on two lists, with the nifty join form trick. (: You're right there are 3 anime seasons with the Saiyuki series (so far). Season 2 (Reload) and 3 (Gunlock) have the same composers but the one for season 1 kinda differed. =/

If I applied for the Saiyuki Gunlock music FL, would it then be possible to have everything in one list?

Heyaa

I was wondering that if one site houses 2 Music of fanlistings for two series, the second being a sequel to the first, would it be neccessary to have 2 separate member lists?

Like for example, The Gensomaden Saiyuki and Saiyuki Reload music of fanlistings (which I currently own. lol.)

This is nothing against Nekoi (^^) but I happened to inquire affiliation for her Code Geass and Code Geass R2 music FL and noted that the FL only had one list for both music ofs. So I'm just wondering, as I would love to just have one list for my FL too.

Technical Support / Not getting emails from board

I'm using hotmail and I don't get subscription emails from the board either. It stopped sometime back and I just didn't bother anymore. However other emails sent from the domain works for me though. So it's kinda weird. Oo

I don't think I'm in much of a position to say anything since I don't really frequent the boards (maybe 'stalk' is a better word. =P)

This next argument has been derived from the above - how, when we want to discuss rules, we are basically just told "No" without a good reason. Why shouldn't we, the people of TAFL, not have a say in how this network is run? We're sure that many people would agree with us on each of those points made above, but yet we don't get any say on it. Even our opinions about things that should/shouldn't be approvable are dismissed, and often solely on the category staffer's opinions on series they aren't even familiar with. Threads about the codes rule and 4 person + relationship rule are closed without discussion, and although the upcoming/pending rules have been said to be "discussed", we were never updated on the progress. We have a right to know that our opinions are taken seriously.

Actually I think the presence of a forum to actually let us post our views is proof that the network does welcome feedback from its users. Of course, you can give all the feedback you want, but there is no guarantee that whatever you suggested may be implemented no matter how fabulous you think it is. (Apply this to your local town/mayor/district/province/whatever. The government ain't gonna make some changes just because you think it should be this way.) Personally, the only rule I'm having a bit of a problem understanding now is the Ambiguous Codes rule. (I mean...it's just buttons! The fans aren't gonna care whether the codes accurately reflect the subject! They just wanna have a nice shiny button to link back the site with.) I posted a thread regarding it, the staffers have read and decided that it will not change. That's a fact. So you either go with the flow or start sulking at how miserable this place is. I'll choose the former if I want to keep my fanlistings within this network. This is their ground, so you really gotta play with their rules, no matter how much you're against it. ^_^

Heya guys.

With regards to the ambiguous codes rule, question is, what if someone who isn't aware of the rules makes some codes and sends to a fanlisting owner as donation? (Let's just admit it, majority of the fanlisting joiners =/= FL owners.) Of course, the donated codes are very much appreciated and one would definitely love to put them up....but uh-oh.

Can we still put them up? Or must we email them back informing them of this 'rule'? (Which is in my opinion, not a very nice thing to do since they've gone all out of the way to create the codes in the first place.)

I am not trying to challenge to network rules but I do think Shaza has some good points mentioned here. I am not sure if most members joining FLs would actually bother if the code was specific enough or not, since they're almost always looking for the one they like most. (: Also, if a fanlisting has non-ambiguous codes to boot, why not leave the remainder up on the site for those who prefer them?

Just some suggestions....^^'' What do you guys think?

Hmm...Personally I still like the feel that Fanbase gives. (Members List/Admin CP wise) So I guess I'll just have to pray really hard for a new release!
