I thought it might be nice to have a farewell thread. I see so any people I remember talking to every single day adopting most or all of their fanlistings, moving on. This way maybe we can keep in touch.
As for me once the final fanlistings I own have been adopted out or closed. I don't think I will return here. Just because my interests lay elsewhere now doesn't mean that this community and fanlistings in general weren't a huge part of my life at some point. I had many ups and downs here and made many friends. I think I was in college when I first got into fanlistings back around 2005, nine years later I have finished that degree, a second degree, a master's degree, and believe it or not I am a teacher. Though I have discovered teaching is not the profession for me. My real passion is being an author. I published two short stories in the past two years (they are free!) and I'm close to finishing my first full length novel.
Bye bye Stats:
First Fanlisting I owned: I have no idea lol
Most wanted Fanlisting I owned: Yaoi (I will never stop loving yaoi, heck it's what I write)
Most hurtful rejection: Sirius and Remus at TFL (I had to take a drive around town I was so upset )
Did I get over it? A long long time ago
Best thing about building fanlistings? The friends.
Where am I now?
