Not getting emails from TAFL

i was looking at a troubles update and saw one of my fanlistings listed, yet i never got an email alert. i also never got an email saying my finished fanlisting had been added. how can i fix this?
 
i'm also worried now if any of my other fanlistings are on the troubles list and i just never got the email.

Hi Rika,

First, have you checked your spam/junk mail filters for the emails?

If you have but there are no emails there, perhaps there's something wrong with how your e-mail is set up, or your ISP may be blocking emails from TAFL. In that case, I would recommend changing your e-mail address at TAFL to something like gmail.

i checked the spam folder and there's nothing there. is there an email i can add to my contacts that'll allow TAFL emails to get through? the last email i got was the approval for Kakashi Hatake which came from you (thanks by the way )

i'm starting to think TFL emails aren't getting through either. if i still can't getting it working, i do have a gmail account, i just don't check it often like i do my main email.

sorry to double post, but i've changed my email but i can't approve the change since the email won't go through. strangely enough, i still get the emails from TFL

Mmh... I had similar problems in the past, but I found out that the problem was the name as sender that I had set in my email (it was C.C., maybe was it considered as spam?). I don't know if it can be the same for you, but that's the only thing that came in my mind! >w<

Bump to this thread. After the domain change I havent been getting emails from TAFL and got a fanlisting removed because of that (I didnt even know nor get a notification the site was back online)

Have you tried checking your spam box? Personally, TFL and TAFL emails that didn't made it to my inbox ends up in my spam box but everything's there.

Nothing. I havent been using twitter too much lately because I've been busy but a friend told me about TAFL being back online and we knew because of that since the emails werent getting to my mail at least... I checked spam and whitelisted animefanlistings.com just in case but that was the only way I got to get my email to reset the password on the forums as well.

I guess there is nothing I can do for the fanlisting I lost tho lol

Bump to this, since even tho I have whitelisted animefanlistings.com on gmail I still don't get any emails, which led me to fall in troubles and couldnt reply to any email since I simply don't get them.

Checked my spam folder and whitelisted the domain, what else can I do? (And even tho I may be on process to update my fanlistings, I changed all the urls to the new domain, which should mean I did take care of them ^^)

I tried sending out a test troubles email to my gmail account and I received it. Tried using the "Your FL List" and also got it. Tried another gmail account of mine in the "Your FL List" and got that one as well. I even tried sending to a non-gmail account and it works.

I checked bounce emails and I can't find any for the email address you have in our database.

Can you test using another email account of yours at the "Your FL List" page?

Mmm, after 4 tries on each gmail I tested, I got the 4 emails altogether. Any idea why? and they were on my spam folder. I'm pretty sure I whitelisted them on both mails tho x_x

This is really annoying since the staffer on the fanlistings I lost told me I should just reapply... when not getting emails from TAFL affected me a lot :/

Okay this is hella annoying. My fanlistings domain expired so between the change from uchuu.org to fan.overskill.org (which is online as you can see... and since one week+ ago) I sent a downtime/contact staffer form + update forms for my fanlistings which it seems, none got into your inbox considering the fanlisting that I lost last time because of the form and emails from TAFL.COM that weren't getting to my gmail (not even to the spam box) got removed AGAIN ........

I'm currently trying to make a new gmail just for TAFL but I dont want to lose my macross/imadoki (which is being adopted out) and shokugeki no soma fanlisting just because of all of this, considering I sent the forms, moved the stuff from one domain to another just to lose it again.

I got this reply from google support:

"We've found that lots of messages from gator4179.hostgator.com are spam."

Hi Kula,

Submitting a downtime form does not guarantee that your fanlistings will not be troubled right away. Although we do try to make staffers aware of them as soon as possible there may be delays from time to time. Additional precautions should always be taken. If you submitted contact forms to the troubles staffer(s) or replied to the troubles e-mails in your spam box prior to removal then those fanlistings should be reinstated without any issue on the part of the staff. If you have submitted contact forms prior to removals and those fanlistings were removed by staffers anyway then please contact the Senior Staff with a list of the fanlistings in question along the dates those forms were sent and we will look into the matter.

As far as we know, all forms sent directly to category staffers via the website have been received without issue (these contact forms are dealt with prior to each update), and no one else has been reporting trouble receiving e-mails from the network recently. In the meantime, I would suggest testing another e-mail account.

I actually replied the downtime form that I'm glad you got ;; (i think it was the only one tho lol)

I guess the other forms didnt go through tho since I did lose fanlistings. I will contact you again asap. Thanks

(And I will be using a new gmail just for TAFL, I hope that fixes everything)

Kula, have you tried to create a (new) filter in your gmail? I also had problems with emails from TAFL going straight to my spam folder. I created a new filter and set it so that any emails from @animefanlistings.com are never treated as spam. Works like a charm for me. You may have tried that already though and it's strange that you don't seem to get emails at all sometimes, even not the "spam" ones. Hope you can solve it out soon
