Two new forums!

We have added two new forums for your posting pleasure: Upcoming Events and Conventions, for posting events you wish to promote, and Goods for Auction/Trade/Sale, to advertise stuff you want to get rid of, trade or auction off! We hope you enjoy these forums, please remember to read the "read me" post in each place before posting!

Awesome! I was actually going to suggest the Goods for Auction/Trade/Sale, as I have a few. ^^; But anyway, yay! lol..oh, and btw, I love your senior staff avatar. :yes:

No, hence the instructions to leave your contact info (if you are the poster), in order that people may contact you with questions. ^^

Edit: if it becomes apparent that replies are necessary, or if a good argument is presented for allowing replies, I can change it. I just figured there'd be the usual assortment of "yay! sounds fun" posts, which really aren't needed if you're just trying to communicate the details of an upcoming event. ^^;;;

Maybe you should allow replies by the actual poster of the thread, just in case they need to update it (ie, in case the location or date of the event changes) to save them from creating another thread.

Unfortunately I can't set it up that way, so I have allowed replies instead, and modified the read-me file to add "contact info" if you want people to ask you questions, or are looking for a ride or accommodations. Reply, reply to your heart's content!
