Error Uploading Avatar

I keep getting an error uploading my avatar from my computer--it thinks I'm uploading more than one image. My avatar is a PNG file and is only 27kb. I currently have no avatar uploaded. Any ideas?

PS: Error I get is the following -- The total filespace required to upload all the attached files is greater than your per post or global limit. Please reduce the number of attachments or the size of the attachments.

As stated on the Avatar Options page in the Control Panel:

Quote

Uploaded avatars from your computer must be no larger than 25 KB.

I would suggest either saving the image in a different file format (jpg, gif) or uploading it elsewhere (Photobucket, ImageShack, etc.) and linking to that instead.

Thanks for that--uploaded the image in a smaller size and it took. Was half asleep when doing this, so honestly did not notice the no larger than 25kb message. Thanks again!

I am going to second Aya's recommendation that you upload your avatar to an image file hosting site and link to it there, that way you can use any format and you won't have to compromise on the quality. :sweatdrop:
