As you may have noticed, TAFL has been down due to issues with our domain registrar. Unfortunately, those issues have yet to be resolved, so we are moving TAFL to a new domain: http://www.animefanlistings.com/ This move will be permanent.

We require all TAFL fanlistings to update their links to http://www.animefanlistings.com/ We will be giving fanlisting owners a 1-month grace period to change their TAFL links, after which we will be troubling fanlistings for incorrect TAFL links.

No forms or e-mails should have been lost during the downtime, but you may want to check with TAFL staffers to see if they received your forms. (Remember that you can check your pending fanlisting applications yourself.)

The board has moved to http://board.animefanlistings.com/ Due to a change in forum scripts, you will have to reset your password.

If you encounter any problems with the main TAFL website, please e-mail us at seniorstaffers@animefanlistings.com with a description of the problem.

We apologize for the inconvenience on our members and visitors and thank you for your patience.

Please also check your spam/junk e-mail folders for e-mails from our site. Gmail, for example, has been placing Troubles e-mails in spam folders.

Is there any way to send an email out to the database of FL owners about this change? I had no idea until today when a bunch of my fanlistings went onto the troubled list. I should check the site more, obviously, but I'm wondering if other webmasters aren't in the same boat . . .

Of course, if something like that did go out and my spam protection is just being overzealous then this isn't helpful. I didn't get a password reset notif either and I know those went out.

I was in the exact same situation as Odile, with the added difficulty that for whatever reason Gmail had put the troubles email in the Spam folder. I don't usually check that folder because I'm so used to the Spam filter working well, so I was very lucky to find it before losing my fanlistings. Obviously this is not something TAFL could have done anything about, I'm just mentioning it.  :)

I didn't see any mass email about this change either, but it might be because it had also ended up in my Spam. Sending one, if it hasn't already been done, seems like a good idea though.

Unfortunately, with the way our database is set up, there is no way for us to send a mass e-mail to everyone in the network.

The most we can do is update the blog (we made sure to sticky the move as the top-most entry), post to our Twitter account, and post on the boards.

I'm not really sure what Gmail is doing with our e-mails in general, since our host didn't change, just our domain name, but I guess that might have been enough for them to consider our e-mails as spam. I'll update the top post and also post on Twitter, asking members to please check their junk/spam folders.
