Hi everyone, I'm Mercedes, your new Songs staffer ^^ As you probably know, this category is quite backlogged (to say the least), but I'm doing my best to 'clean' it ASAP. You'll see a full F/M/C update pretty soon, and after that I'll work on the enormous amount of apps.

I have all forms, so please don't resubmit. It's absolutely understandable that some (if not all) of you are impatient about your forms/apps, but I already have quite a few duplicates in my inbox and there's no need for more. Be nice with me

It took me a while this morning to process that my getting an e-mail from TAFL to say my song fanlistings have been added meant TAFL was up and running...so thanks for bringing that to my attention, and  :unsure: for the huge update  :hyper:

An almost complete apps update has just been posted, covering all backlogged forms. So with this, the category is almost up-to-date ^^ (exception being applications sent after TAFL opening, but I'll take care of those pretty soon).

I haven't finished sending rejection e-mails, however, so please either post here or use the if you're unsure of wheter or not I approved you.

Hello. Good job on the giant update. =) I was just wondering, if someone was approved for a fanlisting however they no longer wish to run it (due to lost of interest, drastic change of mind and what not). Given it is still in the upcoming stage, would we need to send in a closed form as usual? And would doing this by any means lower the chances of getting an approval next time? Thanks.

You should send a Closed form, it doesn't matter if it's on upcoming. And don't worry, I absolutely understand that not only you, but a lot of people could have lost interest on something they applied months ago, so it won't affect your approval chances ^^

I just felt that doing so may seem to create more work for you guys. Even if we did end up building and running the fanlisting, we won't put as much effort into it. So instead of half-heartedly doing so, it's best to let other people who might really want it. =) Thanks for letting me know.

Don't feel bad about it, I actually prefer if people send in Closed forms if they're not interested anymore than eventually putting a fanlisting on troubles for being on upcoming for too long

Question: are you in charge of troubles as well? Do you still have the trouble report forms sent from TFL.org?

Just wondering, as there's several FL's that are dead and I'm dying to apply for :pirate:

On October 8 (eck, I forgot to post here ^^u), I posted an incomplete update for Finished, Moved and Closed forms, along with a Troubles update for fanlistings that have been on upcoming for 5 months or even more. If you submitted a F/M/C form and it hasn’t been processed, please check your inbox. You should have received an e-mail from me explaining the reason(s) I couldn’t process your form, so fix the problems described there and resubmit ^^

Just posted a complete Applications update and removed troubles as scheduled. A few fanlistings have been granted extensions (see Troubles) and must send in Finished forms before October 24, but PLEASE be sure to add a link to TAFL in your fanlisting, I won't process your form if you don't ^^;;
